UK P&P Increase:

Royal Mail have again increased their postal prices for packages. Unfortunately, this means we have had to increase the UK p&p rate. The new rate is now £4.50 per order.
Especially large or heavy parcels are likely to be sent by an alternative courier service. However, if you prefer to pay the additional p&p for a large parcel then we're happy to send it by Royal Mail.

Hello and welcome you to the Birgiss Bellywear website. Birgiss Bellywear is a small independant online bellydance retailer based in the Midlands, UK. The business was founded in January 2010 as it became apparent that it was difficult to find Bellydance clothing in anything other than one size in the UK at a sensible price. With that in mind, we aim to offer fabulous bellydance clothing in a variety of sizes at the same price no matter what your size with friendly & helpful service.

We also sell a large variety of old Tribal jewellery and diy costume decoration pieces along with a selection of props and accesories including Silk Veils, fan veils and zills.

BUSINESS HOURS

Currently we operate on a part time basis due to other work commitments so please don't be alarmed if we don't reply to you immediately, We will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 48hrs to email queries or within a week to phone calls.

CARE & ALLERGY INFOMRATION

Care Information - Please ensure to look at the care information before attempting to wash items. Many bellydance items are very delicate and require specialist cleaning. The majority of our items are produced in India, Afghanistan and Pakistan using traditional techniques and old fashioned dyeing methods. It is therefore highly advisable that all items are washed seperatley for at least the first few washes as excess dye is likely to come out in the wash.

Pet Allergies - Birgiss Bellywear HQ is located in a home office premise with a cat and whilst all the products are stored in a covered unit, we cannot guarentee that products will be 100% pet hair free.

POST & PACKING

Post & Packing - P&P charges will be added at checkout. We operate on a set per order postage rate, our little way of offering a discout to those that place large orders. We also offer overseas shipping, prices for this vary and will be shown prior to checkout.

LEGAL STUFF

Birgiss Bellywear is registered with the Inland Revnue as a sole trader. This is a relatively small venture at present so it is not required to be VAT registered.
